Kim DeRoin, PRSS, CM II

Ms. Kim DeRoin is the Founder and Owner of Healing Foundation LLC and brings professional experience and community-based service to her work with individuals and families.

As a Peer Recovery Support Specialist and Case Manager, Ms. DeRoin has experience supporting individuals navigating recovery, behavioral health challenges, life transitions, and barriers to stability. Her recovery-focused work emphasizes hope, self-advocacy, coping skills, independent living, connection to resources, and meaningful goals for the future.

Ms. DeRoin is also an experienced Parent Mentor and domestic violence advocate. Her family-support experience includes assisting birth parents working toward reunification with their children and helping families navigate the child welfare system. She has experience collaborating with Oklahoma Human Services and Indian Child Welfare programs while helping parents understand expectations, access resources, strengthen skills, and work toward greater family stability.

Her professional background also includes tribal administration and community-based programming, including experience with programs focused on housing and supporting healthy families. This work has strengthened her understanding of how recovery, behavioral health, domestic violence, housing, child welfare, culture, family systems, and access to resources can intersect.

Ms. DeRoin founded Healing Foundation LLC to create an environment where people are treated as more than a diagnosis, circumstance, or past experience. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, recovery-oriented and culturally responsive.

As the founder of a Native American-owned and woman-owned organization, Ms. DeRoin is committed to support that respects each person's experiences, culture, family, strengths, challenges and goals.
